Refund policy
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the original receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at sales@africanunique.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
African Unique has a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to health and sanitary reasons certain products are not returnable under any conditions, these include all personal grooming products including fragrances, deodorants, etc.; all hair products including wigs, hair extensions, weave products, braid accessories, etc.; all beauty and skin care productions including lotions, soaps etc. Additionally, all edible goods cannot be returned (such as grocery items, food products, health food, wellness products, or herbal items), and returns are not allowed on all perishable goods (such as flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
African Unique does not accept returns on sale items, clearance items, or gift cards.
Exchanges
We do not honor item exchanges, order return needs to be initiated for return-eligible items, and a separate purchase transaction is to be made for any new items desired.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded via your original payment method. Please be advised that shipping charges are non-refundable. Also, please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Fraudulent Processing Fee: There will be 25% processing fee on all orders determined as fraudulent order. African Unique in its sole discretion will determine if an order constitute a fraud. Customer who placed such an order will be issued a refund less the fraudulent processing fee.
